Ceremony to award the Eco Schools Green Flag to the middle school students

For the fourth consecutive year, Damanhur Eco School received the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) Green Flag. The project “Build an Ecological House,” was awarded. This project was made in the 2007-2008 school year by our middle school students.

This project involved the participation of various organizations: “La Polveriera,” – Environmental Education Laboratory of Ivrea, the “A come Ambiente” museum in Turin, the Solerà Cooperative – renewable energy systems, MBM – environmental construction agency, and the City of Vidracco.

Ecoschools is an international program of the FEE, dedicated to an education of sustainable development. The Green Flag is an internationally renowned symbol, which has has merited our school the “Eco School” certification.
