Kindergarten ( 3 to 6 years )

Piriporo School, our kindergarten, offers group experiences and personalized activities for each child to more fully develop his or her special characteristics and talents.

All students come together as a large group at the start of the morning and at lunchtime. Outside these times, the children are involved in smaller group activities, which allows us to offer age-appropriate activities and focus on diverse objectives for each stage of development.

Many activities are designed for children to learn how to work together in groups, demonstrating social guidelines like talking one at a time and taking care of communal spaces. The children also take on roles of responsibility in turn. For example, they take care of plants and pets, and they serve food and water during lunchtime. The older children often care for the younger ones and guide them, creating connections and encouraging responsibility for others.

Each child takes an active role in his or her own growth. We welcome the children’s own initiatives. They participate in fun games and learning activities. Artistic expression is encouraged; they draw, paint, sculpt, build, creating unique pieces that reflect their individuality. Other activities develop awareness of one’s own body and fine motor skills. Through role-playing games, children emulate adults in daily life or imaginative scenarios.

We often use contact with nature in our educational program as a source of inspiration.
