Our Methods

School and Family

We offer individualized programs for each child in a close collaboration with parents and families, finding just the right approach for the students' personal development. Our intention is to bridge the gap between home, school and community, creating an integrated educational experience. The family and the school enter into a shared commitment together, encouraging the child to express his or her talents, improve in the areas needed, and move forward in the process of growth.

Projects

We use projects or learning modules to realize our teaching objectives. These practical projects make learning come alive, using real life situations as a basis and drawing out the traditional subject matter, such as mathematics, literature, etc., inherent within the project. Some projects involve groups of children of mixed ages, to encourage cooperation and development of social skills.

Tutors

Our tutors are serve as ‘preceptors’ who coordinate innovative teachings for the students that go well beyond the standard curriculum. Tutors pay careful attention to each child, discovering his or her talents and interests, and encouraing them to develop. Each tutor holds space for the children’s emotional and spiritual development. The tutors teach and also learn with and from the students.

Small Classes

We have small class sizes - one adult for every five or six children, and for the youngest ones, one adult for every three or four babies. This allows the students to get to know each other better, and we can also personalize the educational program for each student, offering them attention and guidance based on their specific needs.
